Although FORS is a voluntary accreditation scheme for fleet operators of any size and any vehicles (from vans to 44t articulated lorries), it aims to raise the level of quality within fleet operations, by recognising efficient and safe vehicle operators through policies and procedures.
Many companies in and around London insist that fleet operators have a FORS accreditation at some level in order to carry out work for them with commercial vehicles.
